Vanta

Retrieve governed compliance and risk context from Vanta while answering buyer questions.

How it works

AutoRFP.ai acts as a client to Vanta's remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so the Project Agent can reference live compliance context without asking teams to maintain another copy.

When Vanta is the system your security team trusts, its context can stay there. AutoRFP.ai queries the Vanta MCP server as needed and brings relevant material into the response workflow.

Connect Vanta through MCP

  1. 1

    Enable Vanta MCP access

A Vanta Organization Admin enables the connection and selects the access available to the client.

  2. 2

    Complete OAuth authorization

Sign in to Vanta and approve the connection using the permissions attached to your account.

  3. 3

    Retrieve compliance context

Use the Project Agent to query relevant Vanta information while working through a questionnaire.

Compliance context where you answer

Reference controls, risks, and other enabled Vanta data from the same project as the buyer's questions.

Permission-aware retrieval

Access remains bounded by the Vanta account, role, and capabilities enabled for your organization.

One current source

Query Vanta live when the team needs supporting context instead of circulating exported snapshots.

Frequently asked questions

Who can enable the Vanta MCP connection?

Vanta currently makes MCP access available to Organization Admins, subject to account configuration.

Does AutoRFP.ai copy the whole Vanta account?

No. AutoRFP.ai requests relevant context through Vanta's MCP server when the Project Agent uses the connection. Vanta continues to enforce the authorized account's access.
